Duties of EGS Branch

• To sanction the plan prepared by District collector under EGS scheme.

• To guide District Collector and respective EGS implementing agencies regarding execution of EGS scheme for providing employment guarantee to unskilled labour.             

• Effective control & Supervision of EGS work.

• To provide information under EGS schemes like National Food for Works Programme, Jawaharalal Well scheme and their implementiong agencies, contact numbers and address of the office, registration of unskilled labour, different facilities provided for unskilled male & female labour at work site can be provided to the people
