Govt. in Revenue & Forest Dept. by its order has created the post of Town planner and One post of Assistant Town planner on the establishment of Revenue Commissioner office.
The main intention of creating these post is to assist the Acquistion Branch in scrutinising all the Awards coming under the juricdiction of Commissioner office, as well as in the competancy of govt. level, also to keep the watch and inspect awards declared by all the LAO,s in Division.
Following main work is expected and done by this section
. To scrutinising and accord sanction to the awards wherein the total cost of acquistion is exceeding 1.5crores and within 3.00 crores.To submit the awards to Revwnue Dept.with detailed scrutiny note wherein the cost of acquisition is more than 3.00 crores.
. The land acquisition references under sec. 18 decided by the Dist. courts allows the enhance compensation almost in all the cases and becomes necessary to prefer an appeal within stipu;ated time limit in High Courts.To decide the merits and grounds to go for an appeal the Govt. has created a judicial cess of 3 members,they advice the Law &judiciary dept.to prefer an appeal or otherwise.The Townplanner in commissioner office is the member of this judicial cess,who is being technical officer study the judjement and gives his technical opinion on mainly Valuation part.
. Revenue &forest dept. has alloted the powers to disburse and sanction the grants in the land acquistion refrences already decided in the courts and where the Law &judiciary dept.has decided to Acquiesce in the matter.Town planning section scrutinise such proposals,verify the arithmatical calculations in the proposal recived from collector office.
. In short the Valuation part in each award case recieved in the commissioner office is counterchecked by this section and assist revenue officers. |
